Looking for a Paso Robles Summer Camp ?
Even though we have just begun the 2014 calendar year, it is never too early to start looking for a kids summer camp in Paso Robles. Did you know, according to the National Summer Learning Association, most students lose about two months of grade level equivalency in mathematical computation skills over the summer months? Low-income students also lose more than two months in reading achievement (Cooper, 1996).
Our Paso Robles summer camp has got you covered! During the summer months we have always held an educational summer program filled with fun activities for kids and this year, we are rolling out the Brain Grain Initiative!
The Summer Brain Gain program can prevent summer learning loss by extending learning throughout the summer. The program includes weekly thematic modules consisting of activities that build to a final, culminating project or event. The modules are based on Project Based Learning. Young people work together in groups to explore ideas, learn through fun projects, express themselves with a variety of art activities all while building their academic skills. Throughout the program, young people are building literacy, research, math, and technology skills and having fun at the same time. Modules are available at elementary, middle and high school levels. The high school modules are developed to assist young people with college and career preparation as well as entrepreneurial skill-building.
Participating in a quality Paso Robles summer camp at the Club will help your child stay head of the class and on track to graduate! But hurry space in our summer program is limited. Secure your spot TODAY by completing the summer application and paying $75.00 towards your summer fee.
