The Community Kids
The Community Kids is a leadership program designed to assist youth in becoming tomorrow's leaders. The purpose of this class is to give children the tools they need to lead our community (and the world) in positive change. Participants in the class will get the opportunity to participate in service learning projects, fundraisers, events, volunteering, and speaking engagements.
Last year, The Community Kids participated in a park clean-up with the High School Key Club, rode in the Christmas Parade, volunteered at a Pancake Breakfast, and were successful in raising over $400 to donate to a family in need during the holidays.
This spring, The Community Kids felt strongly about creating an Anti-Bullying Campaign. Here is the result and we couldn't be more proud!
