Last year's Winemakers Dinner and Benefit Auction was a HUGE success!  We had a wonderful evening full of friends, food and fun as we celebrated 20 years of high-quality Boys & Girls Club programming in the North County.  Thank you to everyone who helped make this event possible.  Please visit our  Facebook Page for an album of photos taken at the event.
Five Course Dinner Paired with Local Wines 
Table Sponsors Keeping with his 10 year tradition, Ian McPhee of  McPhee's Grill Templeton orchestrated our fantastic meal of seared salmon, grilled lamb, coffee and ancho rubbed New York finished by wine sorbet graciously donated by Mike and Carole Talen at  Cold Stone Creamery.  The wines perfectly paired with each course were donated by:  Clavo CellarsNiner Wine EstatesMeridian VineyardsHearst Ranch Winery and  Le Vigne Winery. 
 
Benefit Auction - Live and Silent
Winner 2 The stage of the Paso Robles  Park Ballroom  was filled with attractive silent auction items including:  River Oaks Hot Springs  treatments and complimentary rounds of golf,  Napa Valley Wine Train excursion and an aerial flight for four around our beautiful central coast (thank you  John Hamon ).

The LIVE Auction showcased a prestigious collection of exotic vacations to Cabo and Fiji, large group dinners at McPhee's with tours and stays in local eateries and B&B's.                                                                      
                                                                                                                The auction commenced with the auctioning of a collection of unique, valuable magnums from six of the BEST local wineries.

Q The beauty and elegance of the evening could not parallel the brief but compelling speech given by Boys & Girls Club member, Q Medina.  Q spoke confidently about how as a child she had problems at home and at school.  She remembers that coming to the Club was the first time she felt like she was safe, and like she belonged.  Although her challenges at school became harder to deal with, Club programs like SMART Girls and Torch gave her the confidence and support to rise above her situation to become a very talented and happy high school freshman.  For all of us who listened to Q speak- we realized just how much the Club means to the children it serves.  
We really are changing lives and making a difference!
